Design Your Own Custom Group Pilates Reformer Class

Grab 3–4 friends and create a custom group Pilates Reformer class that’s tailored just for you and your friends. Whether you want to focus on strength, mobility, core work, rehabilitation, or athletic conditioning, this is your class—your goals, your pace.

Our certified instructors will use your group’s feedback and preferences to design a customized session and offer it once or twice a week exclusively for you and your friends. Perfect for accountability, consistency, and sharing the Pilates experience with people you love.

Pilates Reformer Private Sessions

Our Pilates studio features five Pilates Reformer machines, offering a total-body workout that strengthens the core, glutes, hamstrings, and stabilizing muscles. Reformer Pilates also improves joint stability, balance, and posture by lengthening tight muscles like the hip flexors. 

We offer sessions in a variety of formats to suite your needs:

  • Private Sessions: One-on-on instruction tailored to your goals and body's needs. 
  • Duet Sessions: Personalized workouts for two participants. (Note: Duet packages are non-transferable and may not be shared)
  • Private Parties: 4-5 participant parties, combining high energy Pilates in a fun group setting. Call for pricing.

Meet Danielle Zack - Pilates Instructor

Danielle Zackdaniellez@biparks.org

Daniel brings over 25 years of Pilates teaching experience to the Bainbridge Island Recreation Center. Originally a dancer at Stephens College in Columbia, MO, she discovered the power of Pilates in maintaining strength and preventing injury throughout her rigorous dance career. 

After graduating, Danielle, moved to Seattle and earned her certification in Romana’s Pilates at Pilates Seattle International in 1999. She also became a massage therapist in 2002. She later became a licensed massage therapist in 2002, further enriching her understanding of body mechanics and movement.

Her teaching style blends: 

  • Rhythm and musicality from her dance background
  • Hands-on guidance inspired by her massage therapy training
  • Creative visualization techniques to help clients connect with and move their bodies more effectively

Danielle offers private, duet, and group Pilates Reformer sessions tailored to each participant’s needs.

Meet Kristine Cox - Pilates Instructor

Kristine’s areas of focus include functional movement training, sport-specific conditioning, TRX, and Pilates. As a certified Pilates instructor, she brings decades of strength training and coaching experience into the studio. Her classes emphasize strong foundations, precise movement, and helping clients build strength, mobility, and confidence that carries into everyday life.

Kristine holds a Bachelor of Science from Willamette University and is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Menopause Coach, USA Swimming Coach, and AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, with additional certifications in TRX, Barre, Indoor Cycling, and Pilates.

Meet Suzanne Hermanson - Pilates Instructor

I am excited to begin teaching Pilates at BIRC so that members of all ages, and athletic ability can experience the benefits of working with a reformer. I am a Registered Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance and have been teaching yoga and cycle classes for the last 20 years, in addition to a combined 14 years as a high school athletic coach and Physical Education Instructor. I am also a Registered Health Coach and National Board-Certified Reflexologist. I draw from years of somatic teachings and use an integrative approach to assisting people with their fitness goals.
