Ray Williamson Pool Rehabilitation
Beginning in early May, Ray Williamson Pool will temporarily close as Phase 2 of planned improvements gets underway.
Construction crews are scheduled to mobilize on site as soon as May 4, with the pool expected to close shortly after (within a few days to one week).
At a special meeting on March 11, the BIMPRD Board of Commissioners approved awarding the construction contract to CDK Construction, pending final verification.
Following the bid process, Park District staff and Stemper AC confirmed CDK Construction as the lowest qualified bidder after completing reference checks and reviewing additional materials.
Please check the schedule for the most current swim times.
Thank You
We are grateful to our pool community for their patience, flexibility, and support throughout the closures. This has been instrumental in helping our aquatic programs continue during this transition.
