Two-Mile and Four-Mile Walks

Walks start at 9:00 am. At the beginning of each walk we’ll describe the next week’s meeting place (see the initial phrase in each line of the schedule). We’ll also include that information in an email sent about two days before the walk. If unsure about where to go, give us a call. Since parking is sometimes limited, you may be urged to carpool.

Most walks combine roads and trails, typically with a steep hill or two and a little mud if it’s been raining. So wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

We walk rain or shine, but a walk may be cancelled if roads are very icy.

Our pace is comfortable (about 25 minutes/mile), with occasional pauses at points of interest. Though you will no doubt get caught up in conversations with other walkers, remember to look around you. To record the lovely scenes you may want to bring a camera, while a Bainbridge map may help improve your sense of place.

Two-mile walks usually finish around 10:00 am. Four-mile walks usually finish around 11:00am, after which most walkers then drive to the New Rose Café at Bainbridge Gardens (Miller Road) for coffee or a light lunch and good conversation. Please join us.
