The Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District sponsors a variety of special events for all ages in our community. JOURNEY TO RAJASTHAN with Chuck Kirchner. February 10, 7:30pm. Free!
Join island photographer Chuck Kirchner on a photo journey to the Indian state of Rajasthan. Visit the Pushkar Mela, comprising both the famous Pushkar Camel Fair and a major Hindu religious festival. Also visit the pink, blue and amber cities of Jaipiur, Jodphur and Jaisalmer. Free and open to the public. Island Center Hall, 8395 Fletcher Bay Road.
NORDIC FOLK DANCING - Feb 6

Student Art Contest - March 4, 2012
Local students & residents K through 12 can enter the 12th annual Bainbridge Island Student Art Contest, held at the Pavilion Lobby on March 4. With exciting awards and recognition, every entrant will receive some-thing. Entries are based on the student’s grade. A special “RecycleArt” category is open to all ages.
