Nute's Pond by Barry Peters

Nutes Pond is 31-acres of passive park with a captivating landscape whose central feature is a tranquil pond. Located off of Toe Jam Hill Road at the island's south end, this park purchase was in conjunction with the Open Space Bond fund and conveyed to the Park District in 2011. Parking is not yet available. Signage, parking improvements and picnic opportunities are planned through our capital program.
