& Recreation District maintains and operates nearly 1400 acres of developed and undeveloped parkland on Bainbridge
Island.

Trail Work Party:
This months trail work party will be held at Gazzam on May 24th and folks can follow the signs from Lynwood Center road at Opal Ridge Lane (private) to the work site. We will be there from 10am to 2pm upgrading the District Trail in Gazzam Lake Park.

Hawley Cove Park (formerly Halll Property: (Wing Point Way) 12 acres. Woodland trail, boardwalk, low bank shoreline and related estuarine wetland communities.
Pritchard Park: (Eagle Harbor Dr NE & Taylor Ave NE) 49 acres. Beach access and upland trails. Please note beach is closed from 10/15/2007 - 1/2008 (see sidebar). This site is jointly owned by the Park District and the City.
Rockaway Beach: (4002 Rockaway Dr. NE) Beach property with views of Seattle & Cascades. Excellent place for diving enthusiasts to observe unique underwater fissures.
Hidden Cove Park: (8588 Hidden Cove Rd NE. Beautiful waterfront with dock.
