Facility Rentals

 

One way we serve the island community is by providing unique rental venues.  Whether your needs involve a large-scale space for a celebration or reunion, a professionally-equipped room for a business meeting, or a variety of spaces for a special event, we have the solution.


The Waterfront Park Community Center has four primary areas available to rent.  Each has its own character, advantages and options:

 

Large community gatherings have been held at the Center for decades.  Often referred to as the Commons, but properly known as Huney Hall, the central multi-purpose room holds up to 100 people.  A small upright piano is included in the rental price, but a beautiful grand piano is also available for rent.  A large, two-refrigerator kitchen adjoins the space.


The East Wing contains the space most often used for community service, but also has a room available for rental.  The Conference Room holds up to 20 people and has a DVD large-screen television.  Often used for small classes or board meetings.

 

The recently remodeled West Wing, which houses the Bainbridge Island Senior Thrift Store and administrative offices, also has lovely space available for rent.  The Fireside Room focuses on a central fireplace, with a living room 'conversation pit' design complemented by a casual area of café tables and chairs.  Equipped with wifi and two guest computers, this space can accommodate up to 60.  The Dining Room is a small multipurpose room with built-in technology making it particularly popular for meetings.  A permanent laptop/large screen monitor make viewing optimal for theater viewing for up to 40 persons.  Both the Fireside and Dining Rooms can be rented with the addition of a full kitchen.
