The Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District (BIMPRD) maintains a A&E and Professional Services roster following the statute Chapter 39.80 RCW which participating public agencies use to search for eligible consultants and solicit bids for consultant services, including architectural, engineering, planning surveying, and other consulting services as an alternative to advertising for bids on each project.
The Consultant Roster is updated annually. Applicants on the SWR must reapply each year or notify us annually of continued interest and update any outdated information on a company letterhead.

The following steps and information should guide you through the application process:
1. Application Form submitted: firms interested in being placed on our consultant roster should submit the application to:

2. Request for Qualifications: The Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District will request for Qualifications for a service or project as needed. The District will solicit a Letter of Interest, Statement of Qualifications, and Performance Date from consulting firms qualified in the areas specific to the consultation needs.
3. Selection: The District will provide a Notice of Award for each Consultant Roster project awarded. Examples of selection criteria: Agency Identification of the Project, Agency Funding Source, Location of Firm, Team Members, Production Capabilities, Similar Projects, Consultant’s Work Load, References/Past Performances, Ability and Reputation, Quality of Previous Performance, Ability to meet deadlines for contract performance, Responsiveness to solicitation requirements, Staff readily available for the project, Experience, Compliance with statutes and rules relating to contracts or services.
