Parks / Open Space / Trails
This plan illustrates all properties and facilities owned by BIMPRD as well as trails maintained by BIMPRD.  In addition, selected open spaces and trails are shown for reference.

 

Park Proximity
This graphic illustrates a ½ mile radius, about a 10 to 15 minute walk, from the perimeter of each park property.

Park Easements
A number of parks have restrictions to improvements and use.  This graphic illustrates four parcels with restrictions. 

Comprehensive Plan Improvements
This graphic identifies comp plan suggested improvements at specific parks.  This is complimented by the comp plan report  that lists non- specific improvements.

 

Map Exercises 1 and 2 Summary
Attendees were asked to place green dots on parks they or their family had visited since the first of the year and to put a yellow dot on parks they feel are most in need of capital improvements.

District staff were asked to review the suggested Comprehensive Plan Improvements for each existing park.  The graphic to the right illustrates staff comments – deleting some improvements and adding others.
