Mission of the Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation:
The Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation (BIPF) is a tax exempt nonprofit 505(c)(3) corporation committed to the enhancement of island parks, open space areas, recreational facilities and programs. BIPF receives a portion of its funds through Indirect Public Support for the Bainbridge Foundation's One Call for All annual campain.

General Terms for New Projects:
There must be on file a signed and dated financial management agreement between BIPF and the project proponent. This agreement specifies that your organization is a 505(c)(3) non-profit organization. If not a non-profit organiazation, your organization must be a local Bainbridge Island civic organization submitting for one year's term to the conditions of the financial management agreement and the mission of BIPF, specifically that all proceeds collected become the assets of BIPF dispensed for project purposes consistent with above stated mission. This agreement must be signed and dated before monies can be deposited and acknowledged. Participating project award winners must retain all copies of receipts and provide them to BIPF. At year end (calendar year) any remaining funds relevant to the project agreement revert to unspecified funds eligible for general park foundation programs and expenses. A five percent fee on all proceeds collected exists for civic groups requiring BIPF partnership running for the duration of project agreement, a term of which is not to exceed one calendar year.
A separate agreement may be required by the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District if your project relates to park improvements.
